Blog 3: My dream job

Hello everyone 💕 welcome to my blog 3!

Today I'm going to talk about my dream job, which is to work as a clinical psychologist :D. I imagine myself being a good one, I mean, I am trying hard to be a good one, because I would like to make a positive change in the area of mental health in Chile, but what I mainly wish is to make my sessions a comfortable place. In addition, what I really love about this profession is being helpful in the life of people in the search for their well-being, I think that the connection that is built between the patient and the psychologist in the therapy space and in the length of the process is something amazing. So I want to serve in the construction of new ideas that maybe could change a complete world, their own world developed by themselves.

Also, on the other hand, it is needed to be aware that is never a perfect development in an ideal way towards progress, but I think that that is the point of this role, the risk of living and working in ourselves, and I'm about to do my best. Related to this, I would say that some of the skills I will need are mental clearness and good strategies of emotional regulation, so that I could support my patient without losing myself in my own mind and do active listening. And of course, empathy and communicational skills.

Regarding salary, I know that is like 700.000 Chilean pesos and varies around that amount. But currently, I have heard that is not a very profitable option in terms of money because of the lack of employment, in concordance with the number of jobs offered and the psychologists who are looking for a job. Anyways, I believe that is likely the demand will increase in the future if we consider the world context in the modernity nowadays. Or maybe I'm blinded by the fact that I like the career very much u.u haha.

Right now, I'm studying the major of Psychology, and then I'm thinking of going deeper and study a postgraduate degree, like a Ph.D. The reasons are that I extremely love to learn about human behavior and I'm fascinated by discovering new perspectives and their factors. To finish, I can say that I want to take advantage of my time here being alive, by seeing how much I can do and share the most that I can.

Blog 1: A country I would like to visit

Hiii, welcome to my blog 1 💟 I hope that you all do well in this activity and hello teacher -v- I'll start. I would like to go to Japan, and I guess that the main reason is obvious but I'm going to say it anyway: anime influence. Hahaha just kidding, well... kind of. Mainly I would like to go there because of the culture, and rather than have some project in mind that I have to do for sure or to be productive, I just want to get fascinated by the typical aesthetic futuristic and a little bit "otaku" of this country, like a vacation trip.  Therefore, the specific city I would like to visit is Tokyo.
